The ideal candidate must be passionate about the gospel message and committed to the EM Visions and Missions, including the MCBC constitution and bylaws. This position also requires demonstrating biblical theology, a strong desire to champion a spiritual vision, and an authentic witness of Christ to help build a biblical community. The role will require strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to develop and achieve goals, and the flexibility to work a varied schedule, such as evenings and weekends. - An applicant with a Master’s degree in Divinity or a Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited seminary
- An applicant who is an ordained pastor is preferred, however, a candidate with strong relevant ministry experience who is willing to pursue ordination in the foreseeable future may be considered
- Prior preaching and ministering in a multicultural setting is preferred
- Devoted to prayer and Scripture
- A good listener, relatable, approachable, and communicates effectively with the diverse congregation
- The ability to handle multiple tasks, be a team player, and be a spiritual leader
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Fluent in English
